Jackie DeBlasio
Contemporary Abstract Artist
Through colour and form, my work explores remembering, releasing, and fully inhabiting presence.
My practice moves across three distinct bodies of work — abstract figurative, large-scale abstraction, and textured studies. Though each collection differs in scale and material, they are connected by a shared thread: a quiet return to self, a release of constraint, and a deeper inhabiting of space.

TRANSCENDENCE
Transcendence
An evolving collection of abstract figurative works exploring memory, feminine strength, and quiet reclamation.
These pieces often emerge through layers — partially veiled, gradually revealed — reflecting the ongoing act of remembering who we are beneath inherited expectations. Over time, the scale has expanded, allowing the figure to stand with greater presence and clarity.
Each cycle is shared as a time-based digital exhibition and then gently withdrawn.
LARGE-SCALE ABSTRACT
Large-Scale Abstract
Expansive paintings created to open space — physically and emotionally.
Working at scale allows colour and gesture to move freely, creating a sense of release within our personalized spaces.. These works are less about image and more about atmosphere: how a room feels when something expressive and uncontained lives within it.
Each piece is approached as a unique presence.
TEXTURED STUDIES
Textured Studies
Layered works built slowly through surface and material.
These pieces invite a closer encounter — tactile, grounded, and steady. They hold a quieter energy, offering depth without urgency and presence without performance.
This collection explores what it means to fully inhabit a space.
