About
I am a contemporary abstract artist working across three distinct bodies of work: abstract figurative, large-scale abstraction, and textured studies.
My practice explores what it means to remember who we are, to release what no longer fits, and to fully inhabit presence. These themes unfold through colour, gesture, surface, and scale — sometimes quietly, sometimes expansively — but always with intention.
Transcendence, my ongoing abstract figurative collection, reflects an evolving inquiry into feminine strength and embodied sovereignty. What began as intimate, ritual-based works has grown into architectural-scale canvases that stand with clarity and restraint.
Alongside this, my large-scale abstract paintings explore movement and atmosphere within space. These works are created to shift how a room feels — opening, expanding, and allowing energy to breathe.
My textured studies move more slowly. Built through layered material and repetition, they invite a tactile, grounded encounter — holding depth without urgency.
My path as an artist has unfolded gradually, guided as much by intuition as by structure. Over time, scale, material, and form have shifted — but the underlying inquiry has remained steady: how to create work that holds presence without performance.
I live and work in Alberta, Canada, where my studio practice remains rooted in process, discipline, and ongoing evolution.
